When system files are corrupted, usually by unexpected shutdowns, power outages, or storage problems, your PS4 displays "Database Is Corrupted." Rebooting into Safe Mode and choosing the safest option, Rebuild Database, will resolve it. If that doesn't work, try backing up your data and initializing the PS4, updating the system software, or booting into Safe Mode once more and selecting Option 5 (Reinstall System Software). A failing hard drive could be the cause of clicking sounds or the console freezing frequently.
