How to reset samsung mobile?

I’m trying to reset my Samsung phone but not sure which method is best. What’s the proper way to do a factory reset—through Settings or using the hardware buttons? Any simple steps would really help.

Samsung mobiles allow one to reset the phone in the following way: Settings -General Management- Reset- Factory Data Reset, and then instruct. Always ensure that you first backup your data as this overwrites all your data. Recovery mode can also be used to reset in the event that the phone does not boot when holding the Power + Volume buttons.

In Samsung mobile, to reset, use the following directions; Settings General management Factory data reset click on Reset.In case of the phone being frozen, switch it off and then Volume Up + Power to go into Recovery mode and select Wipe data/factory reset.
