How to force restart iphone?

My iPhone isn’t responding and I think I need to force restart it. What’s the correct button combination to do a hard reboot? A quick step-by-step for different iPhone models would be really helpful.

To force restart an iPhone, quickly press and release Volume Up, then Volume Down, and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears. This won’t erase your data.

For iPhone 8 or newer, tap Vol Up, Vol Down, then hold the Side button till the Apple logo shows; for iPhone 7/7+, hold Vol Down + Side, for iPhone 6s or older, hold "Home + Power" to force restart.

Your model will determine how to perform a force restart:

• iPhone 8 or newer: Press and release Volume Up and then Volume Down quickly.. Hold down the Side button until the Apple logo shows up.
• iPhone 7/7 Plus: Hold down the Side and Volume Down buttons until the Apple logo shows up.
