What is the fastest way to exit full screen mode on a Mac?

One of my apps is stuck in full-screen mode and I can't figure out how to close it. How do you exit full screen on Mac quickly and easily?

I think the fastest way for me to leave full-screen view on a Mac is to bring the cursor to the top of the screen and hit the green button at the top left corner of the window. This way I often use and it works well for most programs.

Mostly, I use full-screen mode while writing or viewing any video clips. The easiest choice is to press the green window button; however, most applications have the possibility to press Control + Command + F. Then all the dock and menu bars disappear from your screen until you will want them.

I remember having this problem with a browser window. Bringing the cursor to the top of the screen made the window menu appear and the green button helped me to leave the full-screen mode.

When your program is in full-screen mode, you can try hitting the combination of keys Control + Command + F. Usually, this key combination helps you turn full-screen mode off. I think it is faster than clicking anything with the mouse.
